We picked up a new hobby after we moved to OB. It's fishing! We found out that you don't need a fishing license to fish on the pier so we bought a couple of fishing hooks and met with our buddy who is the expert in fishing. On our first trip, we caught a leopard shark and my husband's friends caught a sting ray and guitar fish. See the picture of the guitar fish below.

Here are the OB pier regulations. No alcohol, skateboarding and dogs are the ones that stood out to me the most.


Here is the view of Sunset Cliffs from OB pier. It reminds me a little bit of Alcatraz.
