Little skateboarder in Ocean Beach

Ocean Beach has many skateboarders roaming around the area. There is a big skate park (the only one in San Diego) and when there are special events, you'll see them in the parking lot near the beach.

See this 4 year old-looking skateboarder skate like a pro.

With a lot of holiday spirit, the holiday festival in Ocean Beach was great.

As I was driving to work early today, I felt so at peace with Ocean Beach's quiet streets. As I watched pet owners walking their dogs in the morning, it made me feel so proud to live here.

Residents who live here look more fit and are such great dog lovers like we are. It made me feel like we belong where we are.

Private beach on Sunset Cliffs

There's a little private beach area near that cliffs where you can relax with your loved ones. Although the space is small, it is a great secret place to visit. June 17, 2012 - Not a June Gloom day in Ocean Beach

I don't work today because it's Saturday so I took our chow chow to the dog park in Ocean Beach. He got tired after 20 minutes of playing with other dogs. On our drive back home from the park, I was so happy it turned out to be such a great morning. Happy non-June Gloom day Ocean Beach! Come out and play everyone!

Chili Cook Off June 23, 2012 (OB)

It's another June Gloom day and as I was driving home from work I see the banner about the Chili Cook-Off taking place in a couple of weeks on June 23, 2012. It is one of the biggest events in OB. Even though it was a gloomy day, seeing this sign cheered me up. You get to be the judge of who makes the best chili while listening to bands play on 6 different stages. Come to OB on Newport Ave. and check it out if you haven't before. It's happening in a couple of weeks from today.
