We went fishing on the Ocean Beach Pier earlier this week and had a very successful night. My husband caught a leopard shark, sting ray and a croaker fish. I caught one croaker fish as well.

Right when we got home, my husband beheaded, descaled and gutted the fishes. I mixed flour, garlic powder and season salt and batter the fish in it. Then we pan fried it in vegetable oil. We ate it just like that. It was fresh and delicious. Wa...

We picked up a new hobby after we moved to OB. It's fishing! We found out that you don't need a fishing license to fish on the pier so we bought a couple of fishing hooks and met with our buddy who is the expert in fishing. On our first trip, we caught a leopard shark and my husband's friends caught a sting ray and guitar fish. See the picture of the guitar fish below.
